What is it. An automatic industrial packaging solution designed for the packaging, compression, and final rolling of blocks and stacked sheets of expanded polyurethane, combining high compression rates with a more sustainable packaging approach, both in terms of reducing packaging material and the types of packaging materials that can be used.

Product and potential markets. The machine is designed for the packaging, compression, and final rolling of single or paired blocks of polyurethane foam, as well as stacked sheets of polyurethane, both conventional and viscoelastic, up to a maximum length of 4 m. The solution is aimed at meeting the new packaging needs of the expanded polyurethane industry, which is increasingly focused on adopting more sustainable practices to mitigate the environmental impact of production operations.

Design. A robust structure and innovative design, consisting of two main units: the press unit, significantly streamlined, and the rolling unit. Through the combined use of a powerful hydraulic press and the innovative rolling system, it is possible to reduce the initial volume of the product by up to 80%, ensuring compression efficiency.

Technology. Equipped with advanced technologies and high power, Burian Green enables the total elimination of initial packaging in the press unit, ensuring the transfer of the compressed product to the rolling unit without the need for packaging and sealing. With Burian Green technology, it is therefore possible to use packaging material only in the rolling phase. The packaging process is made smoother thanks to software implementations, and a hydraulic system with a servo pump ensures high compression while reducing machine power consumption by up to 40%.

Manufacturing material. Flexibility in choosing packaging material during the rolling phase. The machine can work with stretch film (40-micron thickness) or standard 100% recycled and recyclable paper without the need for additional modules to switch between materials.

Sustainability. The core of BURIAN GREEN is its ecological footprint. Thanks to its innovative compression process, it drastically reduces the amount of packaging material required. The option to use low micron stretch film or paper for the rolling phase makes the process highly green, with a significant reduction in plastic waste. Additionally, optimized compression contributes to greater logistic efficiency, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 40% annually and consequently reducing the environmental impact of transportation.
