CFIA Rennes: the food safety at the heart of the new edition
See you in Rennes from 10 to 12 March 2026

CFIA Rennes is set to return from 10 to 12 March 2026 with an edition that reaffirms the strategic role of the event within the European agri-food supply chain. In the heart of Brittany, the Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire, organized
by GL Events Exhibitions Industrie, will bring together 2,000 exhibitors and offer professionals a comprehensive overview of the technologies, materials and solutions that are reshaping the future of food packaging.
Founded in 1997, CFIA has become a benchmark for the entire sector thanks to a format that brings together ingredients, processing equipment and packaging within a single platform for business and professional development. Each year it attracts around 20,000 visitors, drawn by the opportunity to observe more than 500 machines in operation, test processing solutions and discover packaging materials and systems designed to meet new demands for sustainability, efficiency and safety.
The 29th edition introduces a significant new feature: a pavilion entirely dedicated to food safety, a theme that is becoming increasingly central to the innovation strategies of packaging companies. The area will focus on quality control technologies, advanced traceability systems, solutions to prevent contamination and materials developed to ensure integrity and protection throughout the value chain. Food safety, together with reuse, is one of the key drivers of the ongoing transformation, supported by new European regulations and by retailers’ growing interest in circular models.
The distinctive atmosphere of the show – featuring live demonstrations, product tastings and thematic spaces – will allow visitors to experience innovations first-hand and engage with the emerging challenges of the sector.
