Labelexpo 2025: sustainability meets innovation in Barcelona

Labelexpo Europe 2025 debuts in Barcelona at the Fira Gran Via between 16 - 19 September

Labelexpo Europe 2025, the leading event for the label and package printing industry is placing sustainability at the very heart of this year’s iteration, the largest in its 45-year history, having expanded 15 percent compared to the 2023 edition and set to welcome over 650 exhibitors.

This year, the show is setting the stage for the industry to move towards a more sustainable innovation-driven future. The Pulse Arena  (Hall 7 - Stand 7B27) will shine a spotlight on the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation), and address how label converters can benefit from diversifying into flexible packaging and folding cartons and look into the future of AI and automation, with sessions led by keynote speakers and daily presentations.

Labelexpo Europe 2025 announced an exclusive partnership with DMP Europe to divert printed materials away from landfill by recycling label matrix waste into a range of re-usable items such as industrial bumpers and pallets. The partnership is supported by CELAB and FINAT.

Jade Grace, Managing Director, Labelexpo Global Series said: “In addition to being the biggest event to date, Labelexpo Europe 2025 will also deliver on demonstrating that innovation and sustainability aren’t just concepts: they’re actionable and profitable pillars, essential for our industry's future”.
