Punto Pack focuses on quality and safety

A leader in primary and secondary packaging, the Group aims to achieve increasingly high standards.

Constantly striving for top performance, the five production units of Punto Pack Group work daily to enhance, control and certify their products. Packaging performs several functions, from presenting and protecting brands to being an integral component of their identity, thanks to the selection of materials and the product information conveyed. At Punto Pack, the production process is organised, managed and controlled in such a way as to have complete traceability of each component, together with accurate control of each item and packaging.

An evolution that looks worldwide

Punto Pack has two production plants in Parma working mainly for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors. The Group also has other production sites located throughout northern Italy: in Bologna, the subsidiary MAV, which has been operating in the cosmetics sector since 1965; in Florence, Printingpack, an important manufacturer of secondary paper packaging, and in Lainate, Europackaging, a strategic distribution hub in northern Milan. In the second half of 2024, one of its historical partners joined the Punto Pack family: Multicargo, specialising in transport and logistics. The new acquisition completes and harmonises a state-of-the-art production and distribution system based on the availability of both products and services, which enables the Punto Pack group to eliminate hidden costs that often eat into the profits of its partners. Since 2020, Punto Pack's growth path has been extending worldwide, with an internationalisation programme that has led to the founding of Punto Pack International, an essential step in managing the geographical expansion of the business. Today, the Group successfully operates in more than 40 countries, with a 15% share of the 2025 turnover, estimated at around €60 Mln.

Certified Quality

Also in 2020, Punto Pack was the first primary plastic packaging company to obtain BCorp Certification, attesting to the Quality of the Group's operations, adding to its other numerous certifications, which include: ISO, Ecovadis Gold, ISCC plus and Plastica Seconda Vita, essential for tracing recycled materials.

All our companies share a clear mission: to protect our customers’ products safely and in style,” explains Roberto Nisica, President and CEO of the Punto Pack group. “We have worked hard to develop a system that now allows us to work with our partners to monitor and validate all the supply chains which have been significantly shortened and optimised in terms of environmental and social impact.
