Innovation and technology take centre stage at SIMEI

SIMEI, the biennial international exhibition devoted to technologies for oenology and bottling machinery, has for over 60 years been the reference event for the entire supply chain, showcasing innovative solutions and proposals spanning the full production process, from vineyard to glass. Organised by Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) and now in its 31st edition, the event confirms its longstanding product sectors, ranging from wine and beer to oil and spirits. A total of 578 companies from over 32 countries will be spread across more than 30,000 square metres of exhibition space. Among the new features is the introduction of the Liquid Food and beverages sector, to which a new event is dedicated: Bevertech.

In an increasingly complex and fast-moving market scenario, SIMEI aims to strengthen its role as a strategic platform for innovation, with a growing focus on progress in terms of solutions and process rationalisation,

commented Paolo Castelletti, CEO of Unione Italiana Vini Servizi.

This is a sector in which Italy boasts recognised excellence, one that is capable of identifying concrete and effective solutions for industries currently navigating a particularly challenging period. In this sense, beyond facilitating business opportunities, the exhibition positions itself as a strategic moment of dialogue and exchange for all players in the supply chain, both domestic and international.

In particular - Castelletti concluded - through a format further enhanced in terms of partnerships and content offering, we aim to engage companies that are choosing to broaden and diversify their proposition through the growing integration of technologies.
