Innovative and Close-Knit. The Solution Is Served
If there is one characteristic that has defined Servotecnica over the past 45 years, it is undoubtedly its ability to create connections. The company, based in Nova Milanese and a leader in the supply of mechatronic solutions and custom electromechanical components, has chosen this concept as the core of its motto: Connecting dots. Providing solutions. The ‘dots’ it connects are not only those linking leading players in the world of industrial automation with long-standing customers, but also those connecting generations — between those who founded the company in 1980 and those who lead it today, with an even more global outlook.

Event Manager.
From one generation to the next
Founded by partners Adriano Salgarello and Emilio Bistoletti and now led by their sons Matteo and Fabio, Servotecnica welcomes visitors into a friendly headquarters with a vibrant atmosphere. Many young professionals are at work here. “We have always invested in young people,” explains Sabrina Bistoletti, Communication & Event Manager. “For us, transferring know-how is essential: we train professionals who can support our customers in the best possible way and help us continue to innovate”.
Innovation is the key word that has characterized this dynamic company in the Monza and Brianza area since its early days. “We innovate products and business processes, and we strive to always be prepared. Certifications are a good example: we hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, we work on equal opportunities and cybersecurity with ISO 27001 and NIS2, and last year we issued our first sustainability report”. This forward-looking approach proved particularly valuable during the pandemic. “We had already invested heavily in digitalization, were using platforms for remote communication, and were structured to work remotely”.

One ring to conquer all
Let us now focus on the products that best represent Servotecnica’s philosophy, displayed in the carefully designed showroom on the ground floor of the headquarters. “This is a space where we also meet partners and customers,” notes Sabrina Bistoletti, “and it allows us to show in concrete terms what we talk about and the quality of the solutions we offer”. Among the flagship products is the wide range of slip rings — electrical rotary joints available in various configurations, from very compact designs to units with large through-hole. As Servotecnica’s Product & Marketing Manager Alessandro Gomarasca explains, there are more than 2,000 standard models and around 2,000 special and customized versions developed to specification. “This allows the design to be precisely adapted to customer requirements: dimensions, number and type of circuits, connectors, wiring, materials and protection ratings”.
Widely used in automatic packaging and packing machinery, slip rings are essential components in numerous industries. Gomarasca highlights their versatility and high degree of customization: “The aerospace and defense industries require solutions that can withstand vacuum conditions, radiation or high accelerations, such as those used in radar systems and satellites. The medical sector, on the other hand, requires custom slip rings with flawless signal transmission, for example in diagnostic imaging systems. The same applies to advanced robotics — from humanoid robots to cobots — which demand compact dimensions and, when necessary, the integration of pneumatic lines or fiber optics.” Still on the subject of slip rings, a special mention goes to the one supplied by Servotecnica to Rockwell Automation for the ArmorKinetix™ system. Rockwell has included this solution in its manual under ‘recommended materials’. “For us,” Gomarasca explains, “this was a great achievement, which gave us increasing visibility throughout 2025”.
Believing in the future
This success stems from the philosophy that drives Servotecnica and guides its design approach: providing customers with the best possible solution. A goal that can only be achieved by combining attentive listening with strong technical expertise and by nurturing a relationship based on trust. Trust goes hand in hand with the future. The company from Nova Milanese continues to invest: a climatic chamber is being installed to perform thermal stress tests on Servotecnica-branded products, with a temperature range from –50 to +200°C, along with a vacuum heat-treatment furnace and a new automated warehouse. More dots to connect, in order to continue shaping this compelling story of intelligence and industriousness.
