Simei (2024)

Arriving at edition number 30, Simei - the leading International Enological and Bottling Equipment Exhibition of the Italian Wine Union (UIV) - is being held in the Milan trade Fair in pavilions 1,2,3 and 4 from 12 to 15 November 2024.

To celebrate 60 years of history, the biennial event showcases the best technology applied to the wine and beverage supply chain, from the vineyard to the winery, to bottling and labelling, and finally arriving at the glass, in an edition entirely dedicated to intercepting the tastes of new consumers through technological and product innovation.

A networking opportunity for a successful sector. With 480 exhibitors, 25,500 square meters of exhibition space and over 30 thousand visitors recorded in 2022, including 450 foreign delegates, the Show is an opportunity for analysis and exchange regarding the state of the art and sector policies, besides increasingly establishing itself as the reference event for a crucial Made in Italy sector thanks to its high level of technology and internationalization which is worth more than 3 billion euros.

Strategic partnerships for a complete vision of the market

With a cross-sectional overview of process innovations in oenology, liquid food, olive oil, beer and spirits, Simei 2024 is even richer in terms of both the program and the product offering.

Besides the partnership with Distillo, the fair dedicated to equipment for micro-distilleries, which reaches its third edition inside the Show, the first edition of BeerForum, the “general assembly” of beer in Italy, organised by Luca Grandi of Birra Nostra, an initiative established in 2007 to promote made in Italy quality craft beer, is also making its debut at Simei. News also on the oil growing front with “L’Oleoteca di Olio Officina” (the Observatory on the world of olive oils), directed by Luigi Caricato, which will bring to Simei an exhibition of the best examples of design and packaging for the olive oil sector, besides a cycle of meetings on the theme from a green perspective. Finally, there’s the by now traditional Innovation Challenge event, the competition that awards technological new developments in the sector with the “Technology Innovation Award” and “Green Innovation Award” prizes.
