SPS Italia, innovative by vocation

The twelfth edition of SPS Italy, the automation and digital for industry trade show, scheduled to be held in Parma from 28 to 30 May with over 800 registered exhibitors, is an event for discovering enabling technologies for the factory and for discussing the digital transformation in the manufacturing industry.

Six pavilions dedicated to innovation. The 2024 edition is organised in six exhibiting halls. In halls 3, 5 and 6, latest-generation technologies are presented by the most important operators in industrial automation. Inside halls 4, 7 and 8, the 4.0 District itinerary illustrates with working demos the potential of Robotics and Mechatronics, Industrial IT & AI and Additive Manufacturing solutions. Sustainable Innovation, at the entrance of hall 4, opens the itinerary with an area dedicated to the green transition and energy efficiency, a central theme also in the conference programme, together with artificial intelligence and Industry 5.0.

Scientific evolution of the sector. New features for 2024, finally, include the second edition of the Position Paper, the document that the event’s Scientific Committee has been working on with the aim of offering useful guidelines for understanding technological and digital developments.
